Jebel el Deir is an impressive mountain in Sinai where you can do great hikes. It is located above St. Catherine Monastery on one side and overlooks a beautiful valley on the other. There are numerous routes of varying difficulty to climb the mountain. Local Bedouins offer guides, transportation and camel rentals for experienced riders.
