The 300 metre long reef, also known as Abu Qifan, is very popular with divers in Safaga, so be prepared for it to be a bit crowded. The dive site can be reached by boat from Safaga, and many liveaboards departing from Hurghada also dock there. The reef is a boon for wall divers, offering a 300 metre drop off. When you are down there you will most likely see anthias, jacks, tunas, barracudas, reef sharks and hammerheads.
