This museum, housed in the Misr Public Library in Matrouh Governorate, highlights the rich history of Marsa Matrouh through artifacts found during excavations. The two-story building occupies an area of 728 m² and displays the important historical moments of Egypt. These moments include the securing of Egypt’s western borders and the construction of fortresses and castles during the Pharaonic period. The exhibition also highlights the importance of Egypt’s location, the impact on its hunting and trading practices, and its relations with neighboring countries.
