Salah El-Din Fortress on the Pharaoh’s Island-Taba .. After a short ferry ride from the coast of Taba, you will reach Pharaoh’s Island, a small granite atoll surrounded by coral reefs and dominated by the magnificent Saladin Fortress, built in the 12th century by Crusaders and recently restored by the Council of Egyptian Antiquities.
